Geology Day at the Wisconsin State Capitol

When: Thursday May 6, 2010 - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Where: First Floor Capitol Rotunda

The purpose of Geology Day is to provide an informal, networking event for Legislators, aides, and state and local government decision makers to meet geologists who are experts in various areas that affect our daily lives. This is an opportunity to meet scientists who work in various industries and government bodies that you can call on for advice, information and testimony when developing legislation that needs to be based on geologic facts and science, not emotion or pseudo-science. These are the experts working on headline news issues that very often lead to legislation and regulation in the Badger State. Click Here to see the invitation.
